“Social responsibility is the cornerstone of doing great business.” – George A. Williams, CEO, PMIES

CONSTRUCT PROGRAM

The Construct program is dedicated to diversifying the pool of candidates for construction-related jobs in Illinois. It is supported by ComEd – an Exelon Company, social service agencies and labor unions. Construct participants receive career guidance, life skills training, and practical education about the construction industry, as well as increased knowledge of requirements for entering construction-related fields successfully. Students also have access to special sessions to hear from and meet company representatives. There is the opportunity to job shadow, and to attend career awareness fairs to learn about a range of potential jobs in the industry. We are proud to participate in this program by providing internships and entry-level positions on a host of projects.

GIVING BACK & MAKING A DIFFERENCE...

As successful members of the community, we have a responsibility to help those that are less fortunate, contribute to the common good and serve as role models and agents of change. The Tuskegee Next Program and the Quad County Urban League are just two of the many organizations that we support through board membership, mentorship and financial contributions. The mission of the Tuskegee Next program is to honor the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. Tuskegee Next seeks to transform the lives of at-risk youth through aviation education and career path opportunities, so they can in-turn transform their communities. Quad County Urban League’s mission is dedicated to creating programs that help disadvantaged residents of DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties of Illinois secure equal opportunities for economic growth. In addition to our involvement with the Tuskegee Next Program and the Quad County Urban League, we also lend our talents and financial support to the following organizations.
